This page explains what Utilario stores in your browser. It covers cookies and equivalent technologies such as local storage.
What Utilario stores today
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| utilario.consent | Local storage | Remembers your answer to the cookie notice so it is not shown on every visit | Until you clear site data |
That is the complete list. Utilario sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no cross-site identifiers at present. The tools themselves need no storage at all — they read what you type, calculate, and forget it.
Strictly necessary versus optional
The consent value above is strictly necessary in the practical sense: without it we could not remember that you already answered. Nothing optional is currently set, which is why declining costs you nothing in functionality.
Advertising cookies in the future
Utilario is intended to be funded by advertising, most likely Google AdSense. Ad networks typically set cookies and use device identifiers to measure and, where permitted, personalise advertising. None of that is active yet. Before any ad network is enabled:
- this table will be updated to list what is actually set;
- the consent notice will offer a genuine choice between personalised and non-personalised advertising where the law requires it;
- the provider's own policy will be linked here.
How to control cookies and storage
You can clear or block cookies and site data from your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Site settings. Clearing data for this site resets your cookie notice choice, so the notice will appear again on your next visit. Blocking storage entirely does not stop the tools from working.
